Dr. Krystal Letourneau-Nelson

Dr. Krystal Letourneau-Nelson is a postdoctoral fellow with a degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology. She has extensive training in the assessment and treatment of adolescents and adults of various cultural backgrounds. She majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as well as her Master of Arts. Dr. Krystal Letourneau-Nelson earned her doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her research areas include many areas of trauma related concerns. She has spent the last ten years providing psychological services and counseling to outpatient adults, adolescents, and children. She also has previously worked with incarcerated youth and adults.

Dr. Krystal Letourneau-Nelson specializes in working with those with conduct disorder, antisocial personality disorder, trauma related disorders, and mood disorders. Additionally, she has completed many years of assessment in neuropsychology, learning disorders, and various psychological disorders. Dr. Krystal Letourneau-Nelson primarily uses a cognitive behavioral approach, motivational interviewing, and a systems approach. She is especially interested in assisting clients with finding a balance in life to enhance their emotional and psychological well-being.

Although she enjoys her work, Dr. Krystal Letourneau-Nelson enjoys spending time with her family, including her dogs. When it is an option, you will find her surfing, reading a book, or watching various television programs.
