Jennifer Langley

Jennifer Langley is a Licensed Psychological Associate (#37573) – Independent Status and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (#34316). She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology from Michigan State University. Ms. Langley furthered her studies in psychology by obtaining a Master’s of Science in Educational and Counseling Psychology and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She has spent sixteen years providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and their families within a school setting. These services included parent training, assessment, counseling, advocacy, and in-home training. Over the past three years, she has provided counseling and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults in a private practice setting.

Ms. Langley specializes in the assessment of psychological disorders. These disorders include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Anxiety, Depression, Intellectual Disability, and Specific Learning Disabilities. The foundation of her therapeutic approach stems from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). However, Ms. Langley’s therapeutic style is flexible to meet the needs of her clients. She works with her clients to identify problematic thoughts and behaviors that may be negatively affecting their lives. Then she helps them to develop reasonable goals to make positive changes. Ms. Langley specializes in issues related to adoption, ADHD, depression, and anxiety.

When she’s not working, Ms. Langley enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling. Hiking, kayaking, swimming, fishing, and shelling are a few of her favorite outdoor activities. Otherwise, she can be found reading, playing games, or trying new recipes.
