Jennifer Langley

Jennifer Langley is a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) – Independent Status and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology from Michigan State University. Ms. Langley furthered her studies in psychology by obtaining a Master’s of Science in Educational and Counseling Psychology and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She has spent sixteen years providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and their families within a school setting. These services included parent training, assessment, counseling, advocacy, and in-home training. Over the past two years, she has provided counseling and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults in a private practice setting.

Ms. Langley specializes in psychological evaluations for a variety of issues. These issues include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Intellectual Disabilities, and Dyslexia. The foundation of her therapeutic approach stems from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and systems theory. However, Ms. Langley’s therapeutic style is flexible to meet the need of her client and she may utilize dialectal behavior therapy (DBT), play therapy, and rational emotive behavior therapy (RBET) techniques. She works with her clients to identify problematic thoughts and behaviors that may be negatively affecting their life and then helps them to develop reasonable goals to make positive changes.
