Dr. Krystal McNutt, PsyD

Dr. Krystal McNutt is a Licensed Psychologist with a degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology. She has extensive training in the assessment and treatment of adolescents and adults of various cultural backgrounds. She majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as well as her Master of Arts. Dr. McNutt earned her doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her research areas include many areas of trauma related concerns. She has spent the last ten years providing psychological services and counseling to outpatient adults, adolescents, and children. She also has previously worked with incarcerated youth and adults.

Dr. McNutt specializes in working with those with conduct disorder, antisocial personality disorder, trauma related disorders, and mood disorders. Additionally, she has a particular knack in working with autistic/ADHDer teenagers using a neurodiversity affirming approach to promote overall well-being. Dr. McNutt uses a cognitive behavioral approach, motivational interviewing, and a systems approach. She is especially interested in assisting clients with finding a balance in life to enhance their emotional and psychological health.

In her spare time, Dr. McNutt enjoys spending time with her family, including her dogs. When it is an option, you will find her surfing, reading a book, or watching various television programs.

She sees Aetna, Cigna, and UHC/Optum clients in-network and is also accepting private pay clients. She will soon be in-network with BCBS.
